Papers of incorporation were filed on February 8th, 1910 in the District of Columbia by William Dickson Boyce, a Chicago publisher. The Boy Scouts of America were born. Boy Scouts have had a profound impact on the United States. Many presidents and other dignitaries have been Boy Scouts. A total of 181 Astronauts have also been part of the Boy Scout program.
